Since this nation has never had a real opportunity to vote for a person of color, I think one would have to consider what the consequences of that vote would mean. However if Obama was not black, was editor of law review, graduated from Harvard law, had the corporate legal opportunities he had, was involved with underserved communities, elected to the Senate, and ran a successful campaign to win the Democratic nomination-I wonder how he would be responded to by the media?
